Monday we went to Niagara, its huge! went on the Maid of the Mist (the boat that goes right up to it), and a thunderstorm promptly started, so we were sat practically udner the falls with lightning playing round us and being pelted with hail. MAde the fury of nature thing seem even more extreme (and we were very glad of the free ponchos you get on the boat!) Also went to the tunnels that go behind the falls,a nd to see the Butterfly Conservatory ont he wya home. Butterflies don't sit still for photos.
Tuesday we went to Marineland, its littler than seaWorld, but Leigh had never seen dolphins before! And you get to get very close to the animals. Lots of orca and Beluga whales. And the underwater viewing areas came in handy when it rained...
And today we went on a tour of the malls. They're very big, I'm sure that many womens clothes store in such a small area cannot survive, but somehow they do. All I bought were some very cheap tourist t-shirts (china and africa t-shirts I wear, yet english ones i wouldn't..). Until we got to home Depot, its like the biggest most insane B&Q ever, its awesome. May have bought quite a lot there :) Went to a place called Swis Chalet for dinner, where I am told Mom and Nana went when they came over!
Tomorrow we'ree off to the Indian Reservation, and up the tower for dinner. And friday the zoo- one of the biggest in the world! Saturday we rent a car and swap over to the USA. One of the strangest thing is that everything here is purpose built, no winding roads based on roman/saxon villages, its all in a boring grid pattern!

Went to an open day at Toyota (I defintely have the job now!), it was awesome! That such efficiency exists in the world is comforting, that nto eveywhere is as inept as wilkinsons is happy to be. Its a nice thought. And that everythign is standardized- so no one works any harder than anyone else (to work harder when you don't have to is wasted effort really) without being recognized. It looks awesome. Though I've still no idea what I'll be doing, a lot of excel apparently.
Off to Toronto on Sunday, am trying to pack. Its not the type of holiday to pack duct tape and camping stoves for though, or even towels, which is an odd concept to me. I'm so spoiled, this is the most boring holiday I've been on- no adventure sports planned or foreignese to deal with!

I have a conditional job offer from Toyota, for a placement for a year :) Nto entirely sure what I would be doing, helping them fix PCs and maintain some programs they have (in C languages), and having some 'projects' to do, but I've no idea what these would be, previous examples are things like 'reduce usage of compressed air by 10%'. So, medical on Thursday, it sounds very thorough, probably the most any docotor type people have ever peered at me, they'll find out I'm made entirely of cheesecake!
Took some stuff up to Brailsford today, think I might be underpricing them, but then i just don't class my stuff to be as professional or polished as anyone elses. And the frogspawn on these particular plaques was a bit odd and not too frogspawn-y looking.
End of term seems to be approaching too swiftly, exams in a month, assignments in all in 3 weeks or so. One in on friday, haevn't started yet really.

I did get back! After 28 hours. And they lost my luggage. then I haven't been here because I broke the clutch on my car. so then I borrowed my Dad car to go up to the lakes in, and it wouldn't start when we came to try to drive home.
NB: bradex Easy Start makes a big boom.
